Here at Honey Crisp's Peculiar Pet Shop, we offer a colorful cornucopia of original and rather fantastical creatures for you to adopt - each one specially crafted for writers, dungeon masters, and adventurers alike (complete with unique stats - D&D 5th Edition, abilities, quirks, and care tips that will enhance your gameplay and/or storytelling experience.).
Yes! It's finally here! Thank you all so much for your patience! Today, I am proud to present the first wave of peculiar pets. Each creature is only one of several subspecies of their archetype, so stay tuned to see what other animals we have in stock. Here comes the first wave of our wonderful pets! Each creature showcased is only one of several subspecies who come with their own unique design, traits, and personality. Some sweet, others sassy, and a few of which you may consider highly dangerous.

Vesta the Mousecap
Size: 5"
Weight: 1.5 oz
The most common and largest of the mousecap species. They are especially active during the fall, when their favored fruits have ripened. Their spores are not deadly, but when inhaled can cause intense sneezing and itchy, watery eyes.

The Toothless Butterscup
Size: 7"
Weight: 0.5 oz
Commonly found in swamps and marshlands, Toothless Buttercup feast on roe and small fish. Tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hands, it's virtually harmless to all other life forms, but their small stature and slippery skin make them equally difficult to subdue. Owners of these snakes are easily identified by a gold sheen on their noses and fingertips from residue left behind after nuzzling.

Lovely the Petalpup
Size: 1'
Weight: 10 lbs
Friendly and Outgoing - Lovely is a mild-tempered puppy who loves to play and socialize. She and others of her genus are especially attuned to the emotions of others and can adjust their body language to make them more at ease. Certain to win the hearts of even the edgy-est rouge or cold-hearted barbarian.

Momo-muku the Snack-a-Sloth
Size: 2' 5"
Weight: 20 lbs
This variety of sloth is naturally found at the top of snow-capped mountains, but are sighted occasionally near hot springs toward the base during the winter. They are very warm to hug and their docile nature makes them excellent companions. Locals believe that eating their succulent peaches will grant you clarity of mind.

Pink December
Size: 7"

​Named after their pink purple orange Hues that resemble a snowy winter night, pink December's are unique in that they can survive in much colder climates by nesting near geothermal vents and feeding off the albedo effect on sunny days.

Hale-Bop
Size: 2' 10"
Weight: 124 lbs
A rare twin tail cheeteor. His forked tail is especially sensitive to atmospheric pressure which allows him to be more aware of changes the environment, energy around him, as well as creatures who pass by. He is large, but mild-mannered, and will graciously accept head scratches, boops, and strokes to trusted party members to approach him with good intention.
